Rabbi Shmuel Shapira was a great Breslov Tzadik of the last generation. He was famous for guarding his eyes as he walked in the streets of Jerusalem, spending several hours every night in Hitbodedut. Breslov elders of his generation and other Hasidic Rebbes testified he reached very high spiritual levels.
